Working for a large, corporate firm can sometimes feel like you are travelling on a fast train. The train is going at a phenomenal speed, but you are sitting still.
One of the many attributes of Vision Homes is that, as a small, intimate company, the work and efforts of an individual has a direct and immediate affect and is clearly visible; which is also the case, having carefully designed and built their own open plan office, literally.
Entering the main office building is an experience in itself. A place to be creative and productive, without a fluorescent tube in sight.
The innovative design and subsequent flow of the open space allows you to traverse with ease, past the elegantly designed board room and each carefully located desk, through into the well equipped gym, finally greeted by the calm of the Sauna and Jacuzzi.
At Vision Homes it is considered as important to rest and rejuvenate, as it is to produce and create, which results in an energetic, yet light hearted and sociable working atmosphere, rarely found nowadays in the workplace.
An annual visit to Epsom Derby and various seasonal social occasions allow colleagues to unite in a sociable environment, as well as the occasional communal lunch at work.
Consequently, there is a definite sense of ‘family’ within Vision Homes. There is no great divide between the ranks and certainly no hint of hierarchy, but more a sense of respect and approachability. Doors, which are few and entirely transparent, are always open.
