Kim Clark, an employee of Vision Homes is a registered member of the Institute of Risk & Safety Management. This reflects our commitment not just to the health and safety of our customers but to the welfare of all who work with Vision Homes.
The IIRSM is a professional body for health and safety practitioners. It was created to advance professional standards in accident prevention and occupational health throughout the world. Membership is open to all individuals who have an interest in occupational health, safety and risk management.
About the Institute
The Institute was established in 1975 and is a non-profit making body registered wtih the Charity Commissioners. It has over 7400 individual members in the UK, Eire, the Channel Islands, and in over 60 other countries throughout the world.
The Institute's Objectives
The Institute's main objective is to advance publish education in accident prevention and occupational health in industry. To achieve this, the Institute:
- Promotes research into accident prevention and occupational health and publishes the results
- Encourages individuals to adopt health and safety best practice and help prevent accidents
- Advises anyone entering the health and safety field to undertake training and obtain professional qualification
- Exchanges information with equivalent bodies throughout the world.

IIRSM Health and Safety Practices
IIRSM is committed to best practice in health and safety. The Board of Governors reviews annually the Safety Health and Environmental Policy, which is signed by the Chairman. The Board receives a report on health and safety matters at each meeting, undertakes risk assessments, provides staff health and safety training, and promotes a positive health and safety culture.

They have more than 140 staff based at their head office in Hammersmith and Training Centre in Chiswick (both in West London).
