Quantity Surveyor
Apply best practice and continuous improvement in the planning, provision and monitoring of commercial support and assurance to the Project Manager/the project delivery team.
Pursue own professional development and provide support and guidance to promote the development of other commercial staff.
Key Activities:
- Demonstrate commercial and technical knowledge and works as part of the Project Delivery Team.
- Ensure identification of risks in projects, and implement risk management, risk registers and contingencies to minimise the risks.
- Procure materials and off site services in an efficient manner with organisations that are capable of carrying out the work and in accordance with best practice, legal requirements and the Vision Homes Supply Chain Policy and ensure appropriate records are kept.
- Work with the Supply Chain to promote and measure continuous improvement in the profitability, costs, quality and learning of all parties, whilst fairly allocating risks and rewards.
- Conduct all duties in a manner compatible with Vision Homes Health and Safety and Environmental Policies.
